Metal waste is most often referred to as scrap metal, or unwanted used items. The main difference between different types of wate is the raw material of which they are made. This can be ferrous metals such as iron and its alloys (cast iron), and non-ferrous metals such asaluminium, zinc, copper, lead and others.
